The teacher and Casey were worried so Casey went to go check on her but suddenly someone pushed her in so now they were both trapped after a couple of hours the teacher finally came to get us we rushed out to get our drink bottles and lunch boxes we ate an ate till we finally finished. After that we started to feel sick so someone took us to the doctors when we got there we found out it was a haunted hospital but Jordyn remembered that Hunter was the one who trapped us so Jordyn and Casey raced out and zoomed back to school. ANZAC Day
We have ANZAC day to commemorate the soldiers that died in the war. We have the dawn service at dawn because that's when the soldiers landed in Gallipoli. We wear poppies on ANZAC day. Sometimes if you're lucky enough you get to wear family members medals. When you go to the Dawn Parade you say prayers and sing the National Anthem and listen to the Last post.

The Great Reading Adventure
The Great Reading Adventure
17/03/2021
The day had finally arrived. I had some butterflies in my tummy. Just as I took a step into the room there were snakes in my tummy too. When it was my turn to use that microphone I shook with fear I was very embarrassed that I almost dropped the microphone and ran out the door I was terrified to see that much audience right in front of me just staring that made me terrified the most at first I didn’t really want to talk but then I actually realised that i shouldn't be scared and just try my best so i did that afternoon I felt very calm when i got to sit back down. The rest of the show was amazing but then i remembered that i had to stand up again but it wasn’t just me it was me and my class and Te Tinana. When it was done Elena said “you can hand out the certificates Sir” Everybody laughed so did Sir. I got a certificate and some of my friends did too.

Tractor Trek - Big Feelings
Last Friday some people came to Paparore School with gigantic tractors and an army truck. There was an awesome lime green tractor that was big as an elephant, that was my favourite one. We could climb on the wheels and people took photos of us. All of the tamariki loved it. I thought it was amazing. I heard a lot of yelling and people screaming this is so cool I thought it was definitely. There were about six of them! After that we slowly walked into the hall while we were walking we were watching the tractors leave. They started the tractors and didn’t leave while we were watching them. It was spectacular.
