Beach Education trip

Yesterday two classes came with us to Surf lifesaving club. The classes that came with us were Te Manga and Te Putake . The Surf life saving club was down at Ahipara. The person who took us to Ahipara was Richard it took a long time to get there. We sang so many songs. When we got there we got a tour from the people that were there. They told us a really cool story. We had our morning tea and did a couple more things. We had lunch then we went to the toilet and then went to the beach. When we got to the beach we went in to our groups and practiced this game called sandy monkeys and beached whales and then went on to the beach and played the actual game. We got so sandy it was amazing. There were two things that I learnt about swimming 1. you always have to be arms reach with a parent or someone. 2. you always have to swim in between the flags.

Camp

Last week on Wednesday we went to camp at Coopers Beach. We were camping right next to the beach. When we got there we put our bags away and had a quick look around. There were two trampolines but only one person was aloud on each tramp. After having a look we had to go in the hall and listen to the people that own the place. There names were Linda and James. After that we looked in our bedrooms we had bunk beds. We unpacked our bags and made our beds. There was a very big water slide an obstacle course and kayak's and sliprey hockey. We had group numbers. There were six groups. I was in number two with Amelia-Lyn, Anahera, Atama and Jacob. At night we would watch a movie.

Camp

Next week on Wednesday we are going to camp at Coopers Beach. We are going to go with Te Manga we are going to sleep in bunk beds and we are going to kayak. For breakfast we are going to have weet bix, riceys and toast and for dinner we are going to have burgers and chips. I can't wait to sleep on the bunk beds and go on the epic water slide. It is going to be splendid.

Grandparent award

Mercury

Dear Casey, The closest planet to the sun is Mercury. It is also the smallest planet in our solar system. It is 77 millon km (55 millon miles) away from earth. It is sometimes posibble to see Mercury in the sky at night, but it can be very hard to spot. Mercury is a tiny planet, about the same size as the moon. It is rocky, dusty and covered in craters from being hit by objects floating through space.

Wacky hair day

Tomorrow we are having a wacky hair day. Mrs Davan and her sister are shaving their hair off to support people who have leukaemia. We are going to bring two or one dollars to school and Sir is going to make a gold coin trail. It is going to be awesome.

On the weekends

On the weekend I went to my dads house to see my baby brother and my dad. I was so happy to see him he was getting fed. When he saw me he just stared at me it was so cute. So I went up to him and gave him a kiss and cuddle. I started being silly to make him laugh. When he laughed I just keeped being silly cause I love his smile. After that I played with my cousin Caleb, we played busted she can't climb the tree that I can so I climbed it. She tried climbing it so I tried helping her and she made it! So we just waited till we got hungry so we waited and waited till Caleb got hungry. Then I got so hungry, we went inside and had a apple. Then played outside again.

A special visitor

Yesterday we had a special visitor named Oreo. It was Kylan's pet lamb. Oreo is a South Suffolk crossed Romeny. She is wonderful. Oreo is like a walking cookie. She is 8 days old. Some people had a turn at feeding the lamb. She is super duper cute.

My weekend story

Me and my brother went to my Dads house to see my baby Hezakaiah. When we got there my baby brother was crying. I went by him and he just stared at me. I was happier than my dad. After that, Regan went to feed my baby brother. When Regan fed him she put him to sleep while we watched a movie. It was called The Meg. It was a movie about a megalodon. The megalodon was trying to eat all the people he could see. The megalodon is a really scary shark. Later that night we watched a couple more movies. I called my Mum and asked her if I could stay the night. She said yes and she said only for two nights. I replied thank you so much. She answered thats fine. So I had a shower and had two more movies then went to bed.
