I am a Year 4 student at Paparore School School in Northland, New Zealand. Whaea Deb is my teacher. My blog is a collection of my work at various stages, across different curriculum areas. Throughout my time at Paparore School I may share draft copies of my work for feedback and feedforward. Other times I will share my final published pieces.

Mercury
Dear Casey,
The closest planet to the sun is Mercury. It is also the smallest planet in our solar system. It is 77 millon km (55 millon miles)
away from earth. It is sometimes posibble to see Mercury in the sky at night, but it can be very hard to spot. Mercury is a tiny planet, about the same size as the moon. It is rocky, dusty and covered in craters from being hit by objects floating through space.
